Dream Team readying for Liverpool friendly

Indonesian national team coach Jacksen F. Tiago said although Arsenal was slightly better than Liverpool, a friendly match against the Reds would still be a challenge.
“Arsenal is better because it has been coached by Arsène Wenger for quite a long time,” said Jacksen at the Soccer Association of Indonesia (PSSI) on Monday, as quoted by tempo.co.
Jacksen said Arsenal’s exquisite style of play had long been solid. Therefore, the Persipura coach said, he would evaluate his current team.
Following Arsenal’s recent visit, another English Premier League club — Liverpool — will play a friendly match against the Indonesian national team on July 20.
Jacksen said it was possible that he might try out at five new players during the friendly game against Liverpool.
The former Brazilian soccer player said, overall, the national team had progressed. “The squad’s teamwork and techniques have improved,” said Jacksen.
To test the progress, he plans to invite a national team from, which is in the same level, to face Indonesia.
Jacksen said he hoped the national team could play its best against Liverpool. In the previous match against Arsenal, Jacksen’s Dream Team was defeated 7-0.
After Arsenal and Liverpool, Chelsea will play a friendly match against Indonesia. (apt/ebf)
